Korea’s music streaming platform, Melon, has released an analysis of user playlists accumulated over the past 20 years.
The most beloved domestic artist was IU.
She was included in 16.97 million playlists and featured 91.85 million times, making her the most frequently saved artist.
The group BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) ranked second, appearing in 9.5 million playlists and included 68.1 million times.
Most Frequently Saved Songs in Playlists
1st place – Paul Kim’s “Every Day, Every Moment” (the 3rd OST of the SBS drama Shall We Kiss First?)
2nd place – IU’s “Through the Night”
3rd place – BTS’s “Spring Day”
The most loved international artists were Maroon 5 and Justin Bieber.
Among foreign songs, the most frequently saved track was “2002” by Anne-Marie.
“2002” topped Melon’s annual overseas chart for two consecutive years from 2019 and remained in the Top 20 for six consecutive years until 2024.
