The Constitutional Court has scheduled the verdict on President Yoon Suk-yeol’s impeachment for 11 a.m. on April 4, 2025. The ruling is expected to be announced shortly.
Subway Line 3’s Anguk Station, located near the Constitutional Court, has been bypassed without stopping since 4 p.m. on April 3. This precautionary measure was implemented earlier than planned to ensure safety ahead of the highly anticipated verdict.
A non-stop bypass means that trains do not stop at the station—passengers cannot get on or off at Anguk Station.
The Constitutional Court is an institution that delivers nationally significant rulings. Presidential impeachment trials, in particular, draw intense public interest and can cause major societal tension. Due to the possibility of large crowds gathering near the court, safety measures have been deemed necessary.
Seoul Metro apologized for the inconvenience caused to passengers and requested public cooperation, emphasizing that the decision was made to ensure everyone’s safety.
