Yoon Suk-yeol’s Impeachment Verdict Set for Friday, April 4

 The Constitutional Court has scheduled the verdict for President Yoon Suk-yeol’s impeachment case on Friday, April 4, at 11:00 AM.

The ruling will be delivered in the Constitutional Court’s main courtroom.

Additionally, the verdict will be broadcast live on television, and the public will be allowed to attend.

On December 3, 2024, Yoon Suk-yeol declared martial law in a televised speech.

After being arrested, Yoon defended his actions, stating that the martial law declaration was a legitimate exercise of presidential authority and was intended to overcome a national crisis.

He also cited election fraud as a justification,

but the majority of the public believes that these claims do not provide a valid basis for martial law.
